Me, Jenn & Starsky
Hi, I’m Brian — founder of HayEye (Hay + Eye… and yes, it’s also “AI”).
I started out in the Army as a Telecommunications Technician, then spent over 20 years in the USA leading large-scale tech projects for the mobile industry. But when I returned to the UK, my journey took a more local turn.
My wife had started her own small business in Great Yarmouth teaching Qigong, and I saw first-hand how much time she lost each week answering messages, updating posts, and juggling admin. It was overwhelming.
So I asked myself: What if AI could take care of the boring stuff, so she could focus on her students?
Once we automated her tasks, the difference was huge — more time for her, less stress, and a smoother business. That was the spark for HayEye. If it worked for her, why not for other small businesses too?
Now, that’s exactly what I do: help small businesses save time and grow by making AI practical, simple, and approachable.
